Erin Palposi, M.A., is a gerontologist based in Southern California. She has her RCFE certification, and has devoted over 8 years to supporting the needs of elderly individuals. Erin hosts support groups, individualized planning for successful aging, family and spousal advisement, and public presentations.
Erin Light, M.A. Gerontology is a Senior Administrator at Silverado Senior Living and has been the Administrator at 3 Orange County Locations. She is a Gerontologist with ten years of experience specializing in aging, research, dementia care and supporting the needs of older individuals. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Cognitive Science from UC San Diego, after which she worked in dementia research in a joint UCSD/Veterans Hospital venture researching mild cognitive impairment in older veterans. Erin obtained her Master’s degree in Gerontology from USC, and became the graduate researcher on a joint Silverado Senior Living/ USC study exploring the effects of daylight in reducing depression in memory-impaired adults. She also holds certifications as a Residential Care for the Elderly Administrator, and a Dementia Care Specialist. Erin’s passion for older adults experiencing memory loss stems from supporting a grandparent with dementia in a caregiver role during her adolescent years. Erin has extensive experience hosting support groups for various populations, including family members of individuals with memory decline, and also participates in speaking engagements on executive functioning and cognition. Erin is also currently a member on the UCI Mind Community Outreach Committee, and part of the leadership development association, ‘Executive Leadership Program- YLO’, with the Vance Cesar Group. She received her Master's Degree in Gerontology from the University of Southern California in 2014 and has since worked at Silverado Senior Living as the Director of Resident and Family Services as well as the Memory Care Director at a Senior Resource Group community, overseeing a 50-bed assisted living building with 30 staff members.
